Fit

  • Automatic transmission

Without warning, or any signs, it suddenly sounded as if I had a flat tire, which I did not have, with a plop plop sound, as I drove. Was not sure what the sound was, took it to the dealer to check out. At first they suspected wheel bearings, however after checking further, have determined that the transmission was shot. I was quite surprised, as the car has under 40,000 km (24,000 miles), and in all my driving years have never had a tranny go on me.

It fortunately will be covered under the 5 year 100,000 km warranty.

Has anyone else had tranny problems with the fit, or is this an isolated problem?
