When the car first start and still cool, if put in drive the engine rpm drop way below 500 rpm and die. The only way to get around is to start the car, put one foot on brake, shift to drive while one foot press the gas. Once I do that, the engine stays running even in drive. Little different but at least it work for the mean time.
