I've noticed a lot of similar complaints. The Honda Fit cruise control has a lot of issues. My car will occasionally not engage when I turn on cruise control. I've noticed this problem but did not understand that it was actually a problem until recently. Of course, now that I know it is a problem, I am a month out of warranty.

Definitely an issue with Hondas.
