The Fit has the worst suspension I've had on a car ever. It bangs over all the bumps that our 2012 Suzuki SX4 just floats over. Tire pressure good (To smooth things out I lowered it but no difference) and suspension all fine according to mechanics. Got rid of the car after 10 months in part due to this

The limited shocks on the Honda Fit compound the problem of the poor driver seat. Each bump and pothole is felt throughout the car and reverberates in my whole body as the seat (due to the shape) and shocks don't absorb them. Since I drive in an area with heavy potholes due to winter for months, it's painful to hit each one and unavoidable. Even a 15 year old I drove commented on the limited shocks in the car and how every bump was felt.
This combined with the driver seat makes me limit my driving as much as possible and regret driving it whenever I need to.

Another user said it all. This car has the worst suspension ever. I feel every bump and imperfection in the road. The car was bought in California and at first I didn't really notice it. But it is now in Maryland and with the atrocious roads it is becoming an unbearable ride.
