3 months after getting my car, I realized the paint looked funky on some of the top surfaces, mainly hood, but some on roof and some on doors. Went to the dealership for another issue and they told me that a truck carrying chemicals must have splashed on my car while driving down the highway. It would cost me a couple hundred dollars to repaint, but I should wait until after the new england winter to get it repainted. I left that day saying I'd think about it. Seemed highly unlikely that a truck splashed chemicals on my car. A professional painter looked at my car and I immediately started looking online. Both results came to the same conclusion, issue with the paint. Lots of reviews about bad Honda paint. Clear coat has no blemishes so certainly was something with the paint underneath. Looks like pools of oil in water. Now need to try to get this solved with the dealer at no cost to me. At 3 months in, this should not be happening!!
Update from Nov 4, 2017: They said it was topical stains and buffed it out. I'm still not convinced. Keeping an eye on the areas were the discolorations was.
