I purchased the car with 4,500 miles in it in March 2019. I started driving it in mid April on highway I 71, since I have to commute to my work everyday from mile 169 to 119. The current mileage is 14,000 and had to get it serviced and the tires were rotated two days before the incident. The day of the incident was July 26th 2019. I was driving in I 71 in the central lane when the sign of low pressure in tires and then I lost control of my car, I tried to use the breaks which made it even more unsteady. Without using breaks, I made my way to the right lane as best as possible and waited until the vehicle stopped by itself. When the speed was slow enough, I pulled over to the right shoulder and wait until it completely stopped. This was in mile 140.0 going South. As soon as I parked two more cars stopped in order to figure out if I was ok. And both mentioned that my tire flew away and hit their cars, but did not damage them. When I stepped out of my vehicle I noticed that I was missing the front right tire (passenger side) tire completely but the rim was intact since part of the rubber of the tire remained. Tire was Michelin radial X tubeless M+S 215/55R17. I made a complaint to Michelin which only were willing to pay 75% for a new tire. My final decision was to change all the tires and switch to Goodyear brand since Michelin could not warranty the quality of their products and will not assure that the other 3 tires were not defective
