HRV LX 1.8L 4-cyl

Bought a brand new Honda HRV, hoped it would be as reliable as my previous Honda Fit, I relied on Honda's "reliability" reputation, and then got myself a brand new car with a leaking CVT transmission. The experience was awful, they refused to give me a rental until I complained, the replacement took 3 months.

At 700 miles the transmission leaked tran fluid from the inside and it penetrated the sealings and tranny gaskets. Now I am driving a brand new car with a rebuilt transmission.

I understand that lemons are a thing, but Honda seems to have chronic issues with transmissions even in 2021. Thinking about switching to a Toyota.
