defective rotors defective rotors

The brake rotors have surface imperfections which cause partial brake shoe contact to the rotor and concentric grooves in the rotor. At the time of inspection, the vehicle’s mileage was 27428 km mark.

The vehicle was brought to service at Excel Honda Montreal. Past inspection I was notified that all brake rotors have to be refaced.

Excel Honda Montreal has been contacted and chooses to use the excuse "You were not eligible to have the service done under warranty because You did not bring the vehicle to the dealership for brake service at 16000 km mark ".

When in fact the rotors, a vital piece of a major safety component of the vehicle is defective and potentially unsafe. I demand a recall and replacement of the defective rotors. Honda’s flippant and ridiculous attitude is irresponsible. Please insist they fix this obvious mechanical defect under warranty.

Rotors started to warp at around 17000 km mark.
