we can switch on ac but not going cool and on switch no light

Hi here is problem with ac and car manufacture year is 2009 but we bought on August 2011 and we run this car just 46000 mile that time this problem occurred now mile is 48000 but in this mile this problem should be impossible so plz look abt this and reply me
