My Honda Jazz was recalled for an airbag replacement on the drivers front airbag. Which was done on the 24/02/16 I had the airbag replaced and when I picked up the car the driver's airbag light was constantly on. I called the service department and had them look at it again on the 06/04/16. They had an error come up of which they stated that 'they had never seen before.' they stated that they had checked the original airbag and side airbag and could not see anything wrong. So they reset the code. The driver's airbag light came up again and I had my car taken in on the 15/6/16. This time they stated that they need to take my car and search for the fault, and replace any faulty parts. But that it must be at my expense, as the warranty has expired. Honda Astoria in Melbourne Australia is the dealer who caused the error and should be the ones to fix it. I don't expect to walk in for a recall and walk out with a proposed Aus$1800 bill. Then they reset the code, so i couldn't take it to another mechanic to get a second opinion. When I told the other mechanic he said they probably know what the problem is or else they wouldn't have reset it till they could locate the problem. Astoria were too busy to take a look at my car, until I complained and Phil Alder the manager called me and told me to bring the car I'm so they can figure out what is wrong!! isn't that what they were supposed to have done the last two times I brought it to them?
