problem #2

Sep 142008

Odyssey

  • 100,500 miles
The rear brakes groan when coming to a stop. It begins after you replace the brake shoes on the rear drum brakes due to resonance transferred through brake drum material. American Honda issued tsb 01-013 on February 25, 2003 but still refused to give goodwill consideration for the replacement of the brake drums, which is estimated at $388. This vehicle has all maintenance done at lute riley Honda and Honda cars of mckinney in Texas. American Honda should recall all 1999-2001 Odyssey mini vans and replace their defective rear brake drums free of charge to customers.
