In may of 2002, I purchased a used 1999 Honda Odyssey from a reputable Honda dealer in conway, ar. At the time of purchase, the car had 48,680 miles. The car was in excellent shape. Approximately five months later, I noticed two things: My gears were slipping and my power steering fluid getting very low. On 10/29/02 (and 57,163 miles), I brought the vehicle to the Honda dealer where I reside in monroe, la. It was determined from the technician that my power steering rack was leaking and that I had to replace my entire steering rack. Thank goodness for the extended warranty! rack was replaced.
