Odyssey EX 3.5L V6mpi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

A mechanic said it may be as simple as a chip on the alternator. They have gone on when the gas is low, sometimes they go off for a week, sometimes they go on when I go over a bump. I am completely puzzled by this, and I don't seem to see a problem with the brake system. I would like to have this problem resolved. The first time it happened, I was told to continue driving it like it had happened before.

Odyssey EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

After the backlight for the digital clock stopped working a year ago, then the backlight for the heat and air display stopped working about 3 months ago, NOW the backlight for the tripometer stopped working. Can't set the trip meter and see what it says unless you turn on the interior light.

Odyssey EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

After the backlight for the digital clock stopped working, which is annoying enough, the backlight for the heat and air controls stopped working so you can only see the digital display during the day unless you turn on the interior lights.
