- the contact owns a 2004 Honda Pilot. The contact's incident was related to NHTSA recall 638105. The contact heard a thumping noise coming from fuel tank from sloshing fuel. The incident occurred daily and has occurred since purchasing the vehicle in August 2006. The contact stated that he could hear the sloshing when driving 2 to 3 mph. The contact contacted the manufacturer, and the response stated vehicle was operating normally. Ak updated 2/13/2007 -
