Car will only run from 3 to 8 days. Then has to jumped off. New battery. Alternator and battery checked no problem. I think it might be the fuse boxes or something electrical.vehicle is stationary.

During acceleration, and particularly while turning and accelerating (e.g. left hand turns from a stop light), the vsa indicator (triangle with exclamation point) will flash repeatedly and the vehicle will decelerate (not necessarily brake) until it reaches the standard idle speed or until the wheels straighten out and the vsa indicator stops flashing. This happens when turning either right or left and leaves the vehicle exposed in intersections with unexpected inabilities to accelerate out of an intersection. It is intermittent but happens more often than not.

Acceleration to 65-68mph up to approximately 73-75mph the van's front wheels enter a mild to fairly strong, alarming, shimmy felt distinctly and synchronized through the steering wheel. We had just recently purchased this van 2 months prior and ironically had 2 brand new yokohama tires on the front rims. We took a trip from midwest to up and along the eastern seaboard. Symptoms initially reasonable got stronger but appeared at the slower end of the range mentioned above. Now it has gotten aggressively worse to the point you'd think I'd need new tires, but they are in good shape with lots of meat on the treads still. I have read many blogs now that indicate very bad design on electronic motor mounts have caused this and con concur with the general populous of 2005 Honda Odyssey mini-van owners out there that this is a critical fix that needs to be implemented by Honda. Sincerely, [xxx] 11/2/14. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My fiance, me, and our 3 month old son were involved in a pretty serious roll over October 13th of this year and we had no air bags during the wreck they deployed at a delay hitting me in the head. I had already hit my head on my window shattering and breaking it. After we were upside down the passenger side air bags deployed, then when about a minute or two went by I exited my seat dazed. As I came out my seat I was met by an forgiving blow my side air bags which had not deployed after all this time. I got myself together and got my fiance and child out the car. Honda told me wreck was my fault for improper use of the vsa ok fine but what about the air bags that shouldn't have made them not deploy. The rep was rude and said basically tuff luck and got off the phone as if he did not care it happened I could have died and lost my son due to the air bag issue what if it had went off with me getting him out? the guy said I was not at fault. I didn't know any of the information he tried to provide me after the wreck so now I'm left dealing with a lot of headaches and mental pain and told to let it go. I'm not going to really considering court if no one else will help. It was my fault with the vsa cause I had no manual or nothing so I thought all that time we were operating it right so I take that blame but the air bags no it had nothing to do with how we were hammered after the wreck. Physically and mentally.

While driving during rush hour traffic the vehicle suddenly without warning began to apply the brakes and the engine idled down then temporarily seemed normal only to have it reoccur in a matter of seconds. The vsa light including the symbol and the initials vsa became illuminated. I turned the car off and restarted it multiple times only to have it reoccur over and over again. I had just had the catalytic converter replaced for a second time two weeks prior to this happening. I was told by the dealer that in replacing the catalytic converter the service crew punctured my radiator and had to replace that as well. I had the car towed to the dealer who told me the vsa senor control cluster needed to be replaced. They said that they had never seen this before. They indicated that the part would take a week and a half to get the part which seems very strange. The cost for the part is $500 and the installation will be $276.25.

After take off from a red light vehicle started to shake and vibrate uncontrollably which caused me to quickly apply the brake and pull off the road. Took it to a reputable mechanic who discovered that rear mounts are bad an estimated $1200 repair. Honda really should recall for this I shouldn't have to shove out money for something that after research I found to be a highly reported problem on these model years.

The throttle goes to idle setting while driving and does not respond to the gas pedal. The problem is intermittent. The throttle responds again after about a minute after the problem occurs.

Vsa (vehicle stability assist) modulator failed upon engine start up in a Honda Odyssey mini-van with just over 19,000 total miles. Downloaded diagnostic code confirmed failure of the vsa modulator. Vsa failure also means loss of ABS function on the brakes. Component price is nearly $1000. This is a very expensive component failure after very little actual use of the van. Vehicle is out of warranty based on elapsed time. Research indicates that early (low mileage) vsa modulator failures are very common in Honda Odyssey and other Honda vehicles.

Faulty vsa modulator / ABS pump. The vsa indicator light stays on and diag check by dealer shows error codes 76-1 and 66-1. the advise is to replace the modulator. This equipment is already proven faulty in similar Honda models (Odyssey 2007-2008) and recalled. Honda Odyssey 2005 also needs to be recalled. Customers should not be forced to spend a couple of thousand dollars for this.
