When your driving around 60 to 70 front end starts shaking, vibrating when you let off the gas peddle it stops but when you accelerate it starts again I have read many post of the same issue I have replaced all wheels and same thing is happing

Have had this vehicle since new (July 2006). Vehicle/steering/wheels experience significant vibration at 65 to 70mph. Have changed tires, all suspension parts and nothing seems to solve this problem. Been going on since vehicle was new. Have been to dealership many many times and spent a lot of money based on dealership service recommendation but still problem persists. This vehicle is defective and Honda needs to issue recall for this generation of Odyssey as I have read about this issue with many owners of this same type vehicle.

Incident date: Tuesday, October 23, 2012 approximately 1pm temperature: Approximately 55 degrees road condition: Dry tires: Goodyear assurance fuel max installed: September 23, 2009 miles on tires at time of incident: 49,051 estimated tread life left: 4/32 number of persons in vehicle: 2 adults, 3 children while on a local shopping trip including travel on an interstate highway the right rear tire of the vehicle blew out. We had entered the interstate highway and had traveled about 5 miles. While passing a semi and in the left lane of the highway, at 70 mph, the right rear tire blew out. The vehicle started to vibrate and the tire was slapping the underside of the fender. Control of the vehicle was maintained and the vehicle was slowed down and moved to the center median. When traffic cleared, the vehicle was moved safely to the right shoulder of the highway. After exiting the vehicle, inspection of the right rear tire revealed a total blow out. The other members exited the vehicle and remained in the grass away from the vehicle while the tire was changed. When the tire was changed we continued to the next exit and used back roads to return home. New tires were purchased on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012. The tire specialist indicated that the probable cause of the blow out was hitting a pot hole.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I had done a lot of research on what type of used mini van was the best on the market. Honda kept popping up, so I went and purchased a 2006 Honda Odyssey touring. I loved it until I got a flat tire. I took it to discount tire store (the same place we took our Toyota). That is where we informed that we have the pax tire system. From there it's been a disaster! I've called Michelin and the Honda dealership, nobody will do anything to make this situation right! it should be disclosed to buyers before they purchase a car with this tire system on it. The tires cost 300$ a piece and I was informed by Michelin that they only last up to 36K miles. The tires that I have right now, still should have 50% of their life, however my rear tire now has a "bubble" on it. It is not safe to drive! shame on Honda and Michelin for not doing the right thing! I will never purchase another Honda or Michelin tire!

I received a letter from the american Honda dated summer 2011, regarding the warranty extension of the "steering wheel is hard to turn at low speeds and engine RPM." The term is up to 7 years or 100,000 miles. I bought my van in August of 2006, however, since I drive almost 100 miles a day (home to work), I have more than 100,000. Here is my concern, I have been complaining about this said problem (regarding the steering wheels is hard to turn) in the Honda dealer in corona even before receiving this letter, but all they said that it could be related to cold weather. Later on about 4 months ago, they said the power steering pump needs to be replace. Right after I received this letter from american Honda, I gave them a call and told them that I'm already having this problem before, and that this is a known problem, but I didn't do anything about it because I was broke. I asked them if I can bring my van to the dealer to have them replace the power steering pump eventhough my mileage now is more than what they want which is 100,000 miles. They said, they can't help me because they are strict on warranty extension. And, since my mileage is now 165,000 miles, they can't help me even if the years qualifies me. They said to contact my local dealer where I bought the car and where I bring my car for repair and see if they can give me a discount to fix it. The point is it is not fair for them to set a limit on their warranty because this is an obvious factory defect. They should have covered the Odyssey 2006 regardless of the mileage because based on this letter, it is obvious that there is a lot of complains about it. I do not have the money to fix this problem, but I am hoping that by reporting this, we can consider this product defect as a recall.
