The contact also stated that the air bag indicator illuminated awhile back. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact called young Honda at 435-222-0589 (located at 1855 main St, logan, ut 84341) to obtain a quote. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 166,000.

Vehicles pulls very hard to the right all the time especially when driving on the highway at 65 mph. We have to hold the steering wheel at almost a 20 degree angle to the left to counter the pull to the right. We took it to the Honda dealership twice and they claim that the alignment is within the manufacturer specifications. I think this a big safety issue when the car wants to change lanes by itself.

In 2010 I had to have 3 out of the 4 motor mounts replaced on my engine and then last week I was told that I need to replace 2 of the motor mounts. I was told by the Honda service center this is not a normal wear and tear item and that I should not have had to have them replaced again 4 years later. I've also seen multiple complaints about various models of Honda Odyssey with the same problem. Your engine shakes terribly at start and while idling and has a hard kick when you start to go from braking and idling and jerks forward which I can only attribute to this problem. It caused me to brake because I thought my engine had fallen out of my vehicle or was about to and in stop and go traffic on the highway this can be quite dangerous. I believe this is a known problem by Honda as I've seen it mentioned on numerous websites and I have notified Honda myself just recently. I would hope they would look into this. I am not able to get this fixed as it costs nearly 1200$ every time this occurs.

Purchased car in December 2013. Vehicle makes a rumbling sound above the radio dash board when car reaches 30-35 miles per hour. Took car to service and was informed that car needed front end alignment and that tires were not wearing evenly. Had front end alignment completed. Car still makes rumbling sound. Have not had this experience on previous models. Sound is annoying. Considering rotating and/or replacing tires. What then if sound continues?

In a routine Virginia state safety inspection a Honda dealer failed my wife's 2007 Honda Odyssey van (50902 miles) for two broken motor mounts (front and passenger side) and a burned out brake light. I did not and do not believe that such a new, low mileage vehicle should have developed broken motor mounts, especially since my wife drove the van gently since it was new. Because the projected repair costs to replace the motor mounts, "cracked" compliance bushings and other unspecified bushings were expected to be several thousand dollars, I took the van to an independent auto repair shop for a second opinion. The independent shop did establish that the front motor mount was broken and that the other issues, however, were spurious. The independent shop agreed to repair the van for $368. I think that Honda has in this case designed and produced faulty motor mounts (I think that each Honda Odyssey engine has 5 motor mounts). I also think that Honda should issue a recall to replace the faulty motor mounts at no cost to the vehicle's owners and should reimburse owners (current and prior) for any related repair costs. Since a faulty motor mount triggered a rejection in a Virginia state safety inspection, this Honda motor mount failure issue is clearly a safety issue.

I would like to file a complaint regarding the 2007 model year for the Honda Odyssey. The car currently pulls to the right while driving on flat ground. There is a current issue with the way the plant assembled the struts and we are not the only ones who have been affected as I have looked online and found other drivers affected by the issue as well.

Front wheel bearing went bad at 40000. Had it replaced at the dealership at cost to me. Dealer said it was the right front that was replaced even though the feel of the problem was felt under the left front driver side. Seems very early for a wheel bearing to go bad. Logging this in case it is a broader issue with this model.

2007 - 2010 Honda Odyssey owners are targeted to receive notification of a "warranty extension" to replace the power steering pump under certain conditions. I received the notice for my 2007 Honda Odyssey, suffered with the "hard to turn" condition (see tsb 10-076) and associated pump whining noise that is described in tsb 07-005 (defective pump reservoir). Although the pump was extended warranty replaced at university motors (missoula) I was required to pay for the replacement of the reservoir ($66.08). My understanding is that the reservoir defect is what causes the pump to fail. I believe that a recall should be required and all owners that have been required to pay for the reservoir (or pump) should be 100% reimbursed. American Honda automobile refused to reimburse for this replacement stating that the extended warranty applies only to the pump. Please review huge complaint data base.

Consumer states ongoing problem/defect with a Honda Odyssey concerning front wheels wobbling and vehicle jerking the consumer stated the wobble from the front wheels was most noticeable at low speed turns. The consumer stated when he hit the slightest bump, the wobble could be felt in the steering wheel. After turning a corner, and the steering wheel was released, the steering wheel returned to straight forward with a series of jerks. The dealer was unable to provide a remedy even though there were complaints from other customers. The consumer stated he returned to the dealer regarding problems with the brakes. The service writer informed the consumer there was a weakness in the hydraulic brake system and the master cylinder would have to be replaced. The consumer learned of a recall, but records showed it was never replaced. On May 21, 2010, the modulator and sealing caps were replaced. On January 19, 2011, the dealer installed a master cylinder repair kit. The remedies showed little to no improvement. The consumer stated after not using the brakes for a few miles, he would have to pump the brakes several times, in order to stop, because the pedal would go to the floor.

After installing new set of 4 tires for my Honda Odyssey and have the tires balance and align by professional goodyears service mechanics. I can feel the mini van keep pulling to the left pretty fast and dangerously. I talk to the wheel shops manager, and there is nothing they can do since the wheel alignment is fine. After looking at this issues online, I see lots of people who own 2007 Honda Odyssey have the same issues and turn out to be issues with the factory installed spring and strut that need to be aligned and fixed. I almost got into an accident due to the car sudden turn to the left without any kind of warning on hwy 85.

Strong pulling/drifting to right. Driver must use constant strength to keep car driving straight or will end up in the next lane within about 6 seconds. Can be more difficult than usual to keep van steering straight when looking over shoulder to switch lanes. Have accidentally pulled close to others, causing them to honk for fear we were coming into their lane next to them. Had van in to dealership 4 times and they will only check tire position, brand, tread, and alignment and have not fixed the problem. Hundreds of others talking about this problem online with same lack of fix from dealers.

2007 Honda Odyssey pulls hard right after right turn and hard left after left turn. This is a major driving hazard as the vehicle has the potential to pull off the road very quickly or into other vehicles if the steering is not constantly corrected. I bought a used cpo Honda Odyssey in August of 2010, and we noticed this pulling problem right off the lot. On a flat surface after a right or left turn, the vehicle will change lanes in 3 seconds if not corrected. We have taken this vehicle to the dealership 2 times, and they tried many things to no avail (tire rotations, alignment, tire deflations, etc...). I asked them to check the suspension and struts because a person posted an unofficial fix online that deals with improperly aligned struts that worked. The service advisor claimed that they removed the struts and the problem was fixed. However, the problem is not fixed, and actually the problem seems worse now. I am pretty sure they did not remove the struts at all since I requested to see the struts when they were removed and they did not show them to me at all. The service advisor and two technicians experienced this problem when they rode along on test drives with me, but the are claiming that the issue well within the specs defined by Honda. They continue to exclaim that there is nothing else they can do. There has to be a way to fix this, but it seems that they do not want to spend the money to fix the problem properly. My concern is that this is a major safety hazard, and I am worried that my family of five may be involved in a catastrophic accident because the pulling problem is so bad. Please help my family and all the other Honda Odyssey owners who are having this pulling / alignment problem get a proper fix by issuing a recall that requires Honda to confess to the issue officially and fix the problem once and for all before something catastrophic happens.
