Odyssey

All of the motor mounts broke and had to be replaced. The van was driven in normal conditions, and just over 100k miles.

Odyssey LX 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Apparently this is a very common problem with Honda Odysseys regardless of model year. The motor seems to want to jump out of the engine compartment when the van is in drive and motor revved. Left un-repaired it would lead to further issues involving more systems. This happened at just under 100K miles. In all my years of driving and I've never had this happen to any vehicle I owned. And I've owned some junky vehicles in my younger years.
