This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
Bought a 2008 Honday Odyssey EX-L in Dec 2008. After a few days, noticed the steering wheel shaking while braking. Took to the dealer, who said that the front rotors were warped, and they resurfaced it. Now, at around 30000 miles, the steering wheel is shaking badly while braking at high speeds. Took to the same dealer again. They now want me to pay to fix the problem, and blaming it on our driving style.
Told the service tech that this was a problem that happened first right after we bought it, but he is still insisting on it being not covered under warranty. We have had other vehicles Nissan Quest, Toyota Corrola, which have run more than 200,000 miles but never had such problems.
In Dec 2008 complained to Honda CR, was told that they would contact me in 2 days but never got a call back. The Honda customer service has been abysmal at the best. Will never buy another Honda again, nor would recommend anyone to buy it.
I find many others having the same problem with their Honda Odyssey and similar experience with Dealer and Honda Customer (NO) Service.
My feeling is that this issue is going to be another one like that of Toyota Brakes, where they keep denying it until serious accidents occur, lives get lost ...before any action is taken.

I've chosen to slow down before braking or to pump brakes slowly to prevent that shimmy shake feeling in my steering wheel.
