Cannot get more than 17 mpg on this thing.

Have had it looked at by a mechanic and he cannot find any obvious issues.

Engine sounds rough as it drives...but gas mileage is TERRIBLE.

My 2009 Honda Odyssey has really bad gas mileage! I have been keeping track of it since we purchased the vehicle in October of 2009, and have never attained the mileage range posted on the vehicle sales sticker: 18 city, 23 highway. I have averaged 15-16-17 mpg in the city, and have only gotten around 20 mpg on interstate trips. With gas prices rising again, I am very frustrated to barely get 300 miles to a full tank of gas. I have also been told by the Honda service manager that I am not the only one to complain about the poor gas mileage. Seems to me that this may be a case of false advertising!!
