We had driven less than half a mile, and we-??re sitting in traffic to turn when all of the warning lights came on and the van shut off. We restarted the car and the same thing happened. Then there was a popping noise and smoke began coming from under the hood. Within 2 minutes the van caught on fire. The entire engine compartment burned, as did the windshield and part of the dashboard.

2010 Odyssey w/ about 70K miles. Engine started misfiring. There was a recall on this, but Honda is saying it expired, and I am not eligible for cost coverage, and the repairs only have a 50% chance of fixing the issue. I bought the car used in 2019, and they say the recall expired 8 years after make year. I was driving my family to the beach and it began struggling to accelerate. White smoke was coming out exhaust.

The vehicle was in motion, when the check engine light started flashing and the vehicle started jerking. I rushed to the dealership and I was informed that there was misfiring and they had to update the software, replace the spark plugs. They also informed that the piston rings were leaking and some of the engine oil was burnt, I also heard that this was an issue on this vehicle that others had faced, a class action lawsuit had been filed where Honda had provided a warranty extension and not a recall, so the issue will have to be handled by me. I was worried about my family's safety and Honda was not ready to resolve the issue.

I went to the ourisman Honda of laurel sevice department to have them to replace the fuel pump system due to a recall that I was initially unaware of. They stated that they would fix the issue at no cost. Later, I received a voicemail that stated they were unable to fix the fuel pump system due to the conversion of the van. I was told that the fuel pump system was moved to a different area when the van was converted to a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Therefore, they made claims to not have normal access to the fuel pump system. They have now declared the recall repairs to be null and void. Ourisman hoda of laurel has refused to repair, replace or refund the equipment or parts.

Replaced the recall parts 40 miles from a dealer and Honda wants to redo and not reimburse me for the parts and labor. Gas was leaaking and could not drive for 40 miles because of fire fear. Auto repair shop put in fuel module. The strainer failed and caused cracks that were leaking in the fuel pump.

Vehicle jerked lightly each and every time I stepped on the gas pedal. The vibration is more obviously when vehicle changed from stop to motion. However, the vibration can still be perceived when the vehicle is in motion. The faster the car is in motion, the less vibration perceived. The car runs smoothly if it is running at the speed 60mph or more. No check engine light. Car used lightly, parked in the garage and only has 35K on it. Oil changes performed regularly every 3K, air filter changed yearly.

I had to replace the fuel pump in my van. I was not aware that there was a recall previously issued for the problem in my 2010 year van. I would like to be reimbursed by the manufacturer for my problem. I also have had to replace both side power sliding doors within the last year or two and they are both going to need repair again as the doors will not stay closed. They close all the way and then pop back open leaving them on and the open door sound indicators remains on. Also when turning, the door will close and then open back up creating air to come through the openings. It is very annoying and very unsafe for our family to travel in. We can't even turn the power off and completely close the door without it popping back open. I have never received a notice from Honda about a recall for the fuel pump problem.

Stopped vehicle at a stoplight that was red. Had foot on the brake. Noticed that the engine wanted to rev up and take off. Applied brake pressure harder to keep the vehicle from lurching out into oncoming vehicle. Threw the gear selector into neutral. Engine no longer went into acceleration and back to normal. I made sure that there was not any floor mat or something on the accelerator to cause this problem. This is the second time this has happened with this vehicle. I will be taking the vehicle into Honda to see what they say.
