This defect began shortly after purchasing the 2011 Honda Odyssey EX, when a ticking sound could be heard when turning. Repeated trips to Autopark Honda in Cary,NC resulted in: "not really sure, but we lubricated the strut mounts" (sic). Now, after 180,000 miles ( I'm a Road Warrior), the ticking turned into a mild thumping sound; kind of like a flat-spotted tire, but no shaking or vibrations.
My shop has been working on it, and believe it is the CV shaft/joints. Will know for sure once repairs are made.
Never, ever trust your Honda Dealer!
