My daughter recently leased the Honda Odyssey because it is deemed safe for child passengers. We were appalled that she was able to back down her driveway with the rear passenger door wide open. Luckily her 2 year old was buckled in his car seat or this could have been disastrous. She will never lease this model again and we will make sure that as many people as we can reach will be made aware of this gross negligence on Honda's part. It appears to us that this defect in Honda's "safe car" is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
