Bought the 2014 Odyssey in February 2014 and have had very few issues with it. Went out to my vehicle after work on a hot summer day and it started right up. Drove to my daughter's school. Went to start it after sitting for about 10 minutes and it would not start, no lights, nothing. The side power doors wouldn't open so my daughter had to climb over the front seats to get out. Tried jump-starting the vehicle repeatedly and still nothing. Had to call roadside assistance for a tow. Tow truck guy tried jumping with his 24-volt system and the battery just would charge. Ended up towing to service location where they determined that the battery was dead. The vehicle is only 2 and a half years old with 37,000 miles on it. There should be no reason for the battery to die. In fact, the tow guy was flabbergasted that a vehicle this new needed a new battery.

The car sometimes does not start. It takes a while (about 30 min to 1 hour later) to start again. The car was only shut off for like 30 minutes to 1 hour. And it is Spring.
It's been 4 times since this happened. The third time it happened, we took it to the dealership. They found nothing wrong. We took the car back and it happened again the same day. We took it back to the dealership the next day one more time. It's been 5 days and they said they have found nothing wrong with the car.
It is so frustrating to have a brand new car (10 months old) starts whenever it wants to. Honda can't solve their own problem. We even showed them a video of what happened when it does not start.

When my wife went to start the van her foot slipped off the brake while pushing the start button. She was then unable to start the vehicle. Unfortunately on Sunday no Honda dealers were open and it took almost 3 hours to get it towed about 20 miles into the late evening. This should be exciting since my last phone call from Honda at 7 in the morning was essentially why is your car here..we don't see you having an appointment.

This morning I dropped my kid to daycare enter then returned in 5 minutes. The car could not be turned on...... after 15 minutes it was started eventually. So annoyed as this problem has been repeated many times in the past months.
I checked other complaints with the same issue. It seams the OE car battery is dying which caused No Start problem. Does any one know if the battery is still under the manufacturer's standard warranty? I bought this van in August of 2014.
Thanks much in advance.
