Was driving to Florida for a vacation with family from Houston in a new car (about a 1000 miles). AC stopped working in Louisiana. Had to leave the car at the closest dealer since they did not have the spare part, rent a minivan to continue my vacation at a cost of $2,000. Got the car back when driving back from Florida to Houston.
No warranty was allowed. They said that a small stone hit the radiator and that it was the same as a tire flat. It was not covered. The dent on the radiator was invisible to the naked eye.
