All cars slow down on the on the highway at construction area due to some debris flow. I slow down immediately. after that my seatbelt belt not retracting (stop working) and Air Bag sign was displayed. I took the car to the dealer and also contact HONDA (Corporate) by Live chat. Honda Corporate mentioned the following warranty is part of the Seat Belt, SRS system, and Airbag. As per the Honda warranty, all repairs must be complete without any charges. But I got the attached invoice(Cost of repair) to Fix the issue with the SRS system, Seat Belt, and Air Bag issue. According to the Honda warranty App parts and Labour must include I opened a claim with Honda (Case [XXX]) but so far I didn't hear from them. As per my understanding Safety issue related to my car must be fixed without any Charge. Also, Dealer must communicate with HONDA. So far I open a claim with insurance but not required because Honda must take care of or look at the Seat belt/Air Bag/SRS system. As per my understanding Issue with SRS system and AirBag are related with seat belt (Part of on function) See attached diagnosis Report from Honda Dealer. continues for 15 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty Coverage Honda will, at its option, repair or replace any Honda seat belt component that fails to function properly during normal use. This includes all parts and labor charges. TPMS warning light (error) came on, even though all tire pressures were exactly as specified by Honda. When the TPMS error occurs, the vehicle stability control cannot be turned off, and my vehicle could not move from a small snowbank (February 2020.) my older 2006 Odyssey's stability control was not affected by any TPMS errors since it didn't have the system, so I could turn off the stability control and easily drive out of slippery or snowy areas. I live in Maine and this problem causes potentially serious issues (being stuck in snow that is normally easy to navigate in when vehicle stability control is off.) there were two specific instances I can recall: 1) my vehicle was parked on the side of the road, with the right-side tires 3-4 inches into the snowbank; 2) my vehicle was parked in a gravel parking lot with some ice underneath. This problem could lead to a dangerous situation when there is any traffic and I need to push or shovel the car out, which would not be needed if I could simply turn off the vehicle stability control so power could be transmitted to all four tires in this instance. "locking out" the vsc because of a TPMS error (not because of low air pressure) can cause a dangerous situation in Maine. Note: Date of Feb 8, 2020 is approximate for one incident (parking area), can't remember the other incident's date.

When accelerating normally, a shaking, sluggish sensation begins in 2nd gear going through 3rd. If I settle out within one of the gears, it goes away. It only happens when I'm accelerating. The speeds when it occurs range from 20-40 mph. If I were to truly step on it, it doesn't seem to get worse, it actually almost disappears. If anyone else has this problem, please post it up. Dont want it getting worse and causing injuries but if it does, there needs to be a recall.

After driving a few miles under normal conditions we parked our minivan in our parking spot behind our house. While getting out of the minivan there was an odor and a tiny bit of smoke from the engine compartment. After waiting a couple minutes the smoke seemed to go away. We left the minivan parked and about 10-20 minutes later it started on fire and we received a call from our neighbors that the fire department had been called and they were putting out the fire. I am uploading a picture of the burnt minivan and the last service record for a regular oil change on 12/29/2018

When using the push button to start my car the car randomly won't start. Lights come on the dash but the engine doesn't turn over. I have taken my car to the dealer and they cannot identify anything wrong. I have children and having a car that won't start randomly makes my day really stressful. I never know if my trip to run errands, get groceries or to pick up my kids will be followed by my car not starting. This car is really unreliable in its current state. What frustrates me the most is Honda had a recall that addressed this problem in older models yet my car model and year haven't been recalled.

Driver side sliding door opened suddenly and make continous beeping sound eventhough I did not open it. Cable wire came off and now it is closed and do not open. Contacted Honda but am being told that it is out of warranty as 41,000 miles. I saw on tv that there has been recalls for other model years for this same issue. This has created safety issue for my vehicle.

While driving on a highway, without provocation, our moonroof exploded. It sounded like a balloon exploding in our ears. It shattered into tiny pieces and we quickly pulled the sunshade before the glass could crash into the car. We were going 72 miles an hour, there was no one else around us and we were not going under anything that would have dropped debris on the car.

On August 20, 2017, driving on I-77 North towards charlotte, nc heard a pop and explosion on top of our van outside statesville, nc. Pulled over and discovered our sunroof/moonroof was shattered. Fortunately, the interior cover was closed and did not have any glass fall on us. That day we contacted our car insurance company, usaa, and set up an appointment at abra auto body & glass - independence, 2033 margaret wallace road, matthews, nc 28105. The adjuster, jon wulf, could not explain why this happened and that there was no rock found when they repaired the sunroof. This past weekend my wife, linda, heard a news report on "exploding sunroofs, " and I found numerous reports on the internet. I am reporting our incident so that others may never have to experience this, especially when traveling over 70 miles an hour on an interstate. We could have been injured by flying glass and could have had a serious accident. I am afraid it will take a death before anything is done to protect american drivers. I do have the auto body report as proof this happened.

The van has power sliding doors. Ever since it was new, we have had problems with the doors not closing. We have been told several times by the dealer that it is because we live on gravel. I finally took the van apart myself and found that the rubber coating had come off the cable that closes the door and bunched up and would let it slide freely. I bought a new and within a month it was doing the same thing. The coating was coming off. We just took it back to Honda and were told again it was dust but the coating is coming off the other side and jamming it up too. My wife hit a deer recently and this is where the problem is. The power door wouldn't slide and when you put it on manual mode which shuts the doors off, it won't slide either and my wife had to climb over the front seat and get my son out of his seat. If this was an emergency situation I don't know what would happen. Worst part, my wife says that it has never worked and she asked Honda about it and they said it was because we live on gravel. Now that our warranty is up, they want to sell us a bunch of new parts. I just ask that someone look into this problem because of the safety factor. I consider myself to be pretty strong and I can't sit on the inside the van and force it open so I don't know what my kids would do if something happened to my wife if there was an accident.

I was traveling down an interstate at 70mph, when the sunroof spontaneously exploded. There was nothing above me, except for the sky, and no vehicles in front or behind me. It was approximately 75 degrees on a clear summer day. Sounded like an explosion when it occurred. Took the vehicle into the dealer, and they contacted the rep for warranty claims, and denied my claim, stating that it was caused by impact. Had the rep call me and he was absolutely unwilling to work with me at all. Studies have shown that it is "practically impossible to get an impact break on the top of a car". additionally, a me professor at uc berkeley calculated that a rock lofted into the air by a vehicle tire would reach a height of 10-15 feet and would have to come down at 70-80 mph to break the sunroof. "there is not a chance in the world that an unintentional rock that is lofted by a vehicle would ever break a sunroof panel. The maximum velocity of a rock coming down would be 25 mph, well short of the 70 mph". just like the other complaints on here about this issue, the glass was bowed out on the sunroof, like an explosion, and there was no damage to the sunroof sliding visor that you would expect to see if something really did impact the sunroof causing it to break. Honda has been absolutely unwilling to admit that this is an issue, and they claim they've never heard about this happening before. A simple internet search finds numerous issues of sunroofs exploding on newer model vehicles.

Sunroof spontaneously shattered with no signs of any external impact. The car was parked at the time. Checked for debris and nothing found. In fact, it looks as if the force came from within the vehicle as the hole extruded from the car itself.

While driving down the highway on an 80 degree sunny day an explosion sound above my head. Opened moon roof visor and glass was shattered. Stopped and looked at the damage. Looked like something pushed it out vs being hit by anything. There was an 8" hole right in the middle and all the shards of glass around it pointed up. Nothing hit us as both my wife and I where paying attention and no bang like a rock or debris makes when hitting the windshield.

Was driving ~70mph on freeway near orlando, fl. Heard a strange loud noise and glass breaking, then lot of road noise. Upon stopping to check what happened, realized sunroof glass had shattered and had a large hole in it - it appeared to be bowed up/outward. Luckily the inner cover was closed so no glass entered the vehicle. Did not hear any impact noise when it happened and there are no visible scratches, dents or other evidence of any impact around sunroof which leads me to believe this is a fault of some kind [in glass or otherwise]. the sunroof sits almost flat and the probability of it being struck by anything must be extremely small. If by some miracle it is actually struck by something, would have to be only a glancing impact and I believe should not shatter and disintegrate like it did. Seeing as there are already other 3 reports of similar occurrences already registered with NHTSA specifically for 2015 model, plus a couple of other reports mentioned in forums online, I think this needs to be investigated before someone gets seriously hurt as a consequence. My concern is Honda dealer immediately decided it was external issue and should be insurance claim. If this is standard practice, it could mean other occurrences of this happening might not be getting reported to american Honda and so they are unaware of a potentially serious problem.

I was driving 65 M/H when I hear a "small explosion", wasn't sure where the noise came from. After that I see some solid material flying from the front of the car all the way to the back. I parked the car on the side of the freeway and when I look on top of the roof I saw the moonroof broke and noticed the hole was coming from bottom up. There were not other vehicles on the road eliminating the possibility of road debris or anything else that could make me think that this was an incident other than factory issue (pressurization) I'm almost 8 months pregnant and the attention I got from Honda service department in morgan hill is really disappointing this could have been a serious issue if I didn't have the cover in place to protect me to get glass on me!. I found similar cases reported to the NHTSA for the same car and model. This needs to be taking seriously by american Honda.

The headrest for the driver's seat is my problem. I have to lean my head forward to keep the headrest from pushing my head forward. This is causing me to have neck and shoulder pain. I tried leaning the driver's seat back but then I had no support for my back and that caused me to have neck and shoulder pain. I need a headrest that I can adjust to go back further. Also, the headrests on the 3rd row go up so high that visibility out of the back window is obscured and I found that I could only use my side view mirrors.
