I am merely writing this for informational purposes. We bought the car from the original owners 3 months ago. It is a 2015 Elite and after driving for awhile we noticed that between 0-40mph the tachometer would fluctuate a small amount when you were light on the throttle. Sometimes it seemed like the transmission was hunting for a gear. As well, when going into reverse when on a slope it would give a hard clunk into gear. It didn't have any issues when you went full throttle, it would get up to speed just fine.
I took the car into the dealer on 12/08/18 to take a look at the issue. I was expecting to at least pay for a transmission flush but got a call a few hours later saying that the car was covered under an extended warranty and that they would also do a software update on the transmission ECM. Got the car back and now it seems to shift just fine, I never did see the color of the old fluid, but they also did a flush as part of the warranty work. Definitely an inconvenience, but hopefully this solves our transmission woes from here on out. If you have any of these symptoms I highly recommend you take the car in ASAP so as not to exceed the extended warranty!

Our 2015 Honda Odyssey has a crap 6 speed transmission that jerks when upshifting, downshifting and when the ECO light goes off. Second, the transmission can't decide what gear to stay in and constantly gear hunts when driving down the highway. Third, when coming to a stop, the torque converter locks up and judders its way to a stop. What a bad transmission from Honda. The van's not even at 100,000 miles yet and it feels like you're riding on the back of a bull.
Update from Dec 27, 2021: Our 2015 Honda Odyssey jerks when shifting and is getting worse. It will cost a lot to fix.
