This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
The van started making really terrible noises whenever I turned the steering wheel or went over bumps like pulling into my driveway. Had to take it in and they said they pried open the undercarriage and had to lubricate things. Seems like the factory probably missed it.

We have taken our Honda Odyssey to the dealership about 5 times for a popping noise in the steering. The noise is noticed while turning at low speeds. The dealership temporarily resolved the issue each time by lubricating the steering shaft. The dealer has stated that the ball joints and front end components are in working order and don't need to be repaired or replaced. This issue is more of an annoyance than anything. Overall the Honda Odyssey is well built and a very reliable vehicle.
