While placing an item in the rear of my Honda Odyssey mini-van the hatch began to close on me. The safety sensor did not activate and the hatch was closing with great pressure. I was able to slide out before being pinned or severely injured. After investigating why it happened, I discovered and was able to replicate the behavior. The key fob was in my right front pocket at the time I was almost pinned. My house key pressed and held the rear hatch button on the key fob causing it to close. Because the button was pinned down by my other key, the safety pressure sensor failed to activate. I was able to replicate and film this behavior. I was also able to replicate the behavior using my parent's neighbor's Honda Passport. 1. This occurred after turning off the vehicle, and on the first time closing the rear hatch. I have video of being able to replicate the issue available.

The rearview mirror became unglued to the windshield causing it to bobble around. It is unsafe to have a rearview mirror that doesn't work and the electronics inside it are unable to work correctly if not mounted properly. The dealership reported that it was a defect. It also is not something they could glue back into place and that the entire windshield needs to be replaced and a new mirror put on and recalibrated due to the electronics involved. This is on a 3 year old car that has 43k miles on it. Flow Honda of Charlottesville provided a video detailing their analysis by the technician. The video can be viewed here on Flow Honda's site: [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While at a stop sign in a residential area, after going approx 20 mph, the rear windshield spontaneously exploded. It threw glass into the back seats where there were children.

The sensor to open the sliding door on our left side, that stops it from closing when something is in between, did not work today. My 5 year old was reaching in as it was closing to grab her jacket. I was in the front seat, about to get out. I heard the door close and her scream. Her hand was stuck with the door fully closed, and I had to push the Open button twice to get it to release her hand. The sensor should have prevented it from closing and did not.

The glass of the sunroof spontaneously shattered while driving down the highway. It made an explosion sound and dropped shards of glass all over myself and my child. I am in the process of finding replacement glass for the vehicle. It is less than a year old, and the dealer does not have replacement parts nor does it know when they can get one. There were no warnings before this happened. The vehicle has never had any damage and is stored in an interior garage. The damage happened at 55 degrees on a dry overcast day in Nashville, TN.

My power sunroof busted randomly while driving. Thank goodness I had it closed underneath me or else the glass would have fallen on me. It was sudden & I was not under a bridge or anything else to make me believe a rock or debris hit it. Additionally could not find a trace of a rock or anything afterwards. Not only did this pose a threat to me, but the glass flew behind me & caused an issue for the cars behind me.

After driving vehicle to run 3 stop and go inside errands I drove home. Estimate of time for errands etc. was about 30 minutes. I pulled into my home's driveway and applied brake pedal to bring car to a complete stop so that I could tilt-in side view mirrors before pulling into my carport. As I did this I noticed that a white smoke had begun to enter the car through the AC diffusers. Smoke was also seen exiting from front right side of engine hood and through the exterior fresh air channel (the wiper blade area). The smoke had the odor associated with a fire and not the odor of electrical component malfunction. I turned engine off and exited quickly along with getting my middle row occupant, my 60 lb canine companion, out of the vehicle and into my house. I was not sure what was happening to the vehicle. So I went back out and by this time I could see a lot of white smoke coming from engine compartment. My next door neighbor's father called 911. Before the fire department arrived the vehicle was engulfed in flames. This all occurred within a 10 minute time frame and the heat of the fire damage 2 of my nearby parked vehicles. If I had driven into the carport as usually do, my house would have suffered fire damage. This Honda Odessey Elite was a 2022 model vehicle that was leased March 18, 2021 had 3296 miles on odometer. This is a fire safety issue. Had it happened while I went inside the post office for 5 minutes and my canine companion remained inside vehicle, I may not have been able to get her out in time to save her life.

We just got a new 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Since getting the van my family has ben having headaches and feeling nausea. On doing research we found out that the van comes with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). If you just do a google research you will see a lot of people complaining about the same issue and that they had to somehow disable the module. I have contacted the dealer and Honda USA, they are still looking into it. We cant even enjoy the new van. Please help
