After a major service maintenance schedule performed by moses Honda, 6018 U.S. 60 rt. East of barboursville, I noticed a severe depletion of brake pedal on my 1999 Honda Passport while stopped at a traffic light. I immediately took the vehicle to moses auto service and explained what was happening. The service manager had a technician to inspect the vehicle and subsequently added brake fluid. The service manager explained more attention would be available on my next service date. After my next service date no mention of the brake problem was addressed. On November 23, 2004 I was traveling West on rt. 60 and passed through a traffic light at exit 15 I-64 and was confronted by a gray van suddenly stopped. I immediately thrust my foot on my brakes, to no avail. I subsequently collided with the vehicle in front of me. It was a horrifying experience with the operation of the airbags, smoke and noise. There was a cabell county deputy sheriff near the scene who did the reporting and investigation. Later that same day I once again passed through the accident scene and discovered no tire skid marks. This has aroused my suspicion about the brakes. The vehicle is stored at paul's garage. 6141 childers rd. Barboursville, wv ph.304-736-4531. I would like for your office to investigate this vehicle for brake failure before repairs begin. Thank you, james H. parsons

I purchased a 99 Honda Passport from Mazda of knoxville located in knoxville tn. The vehicle had 49000 mi. 3 days later it started making noise in the engine, and also the fuel gauge stopped working as well as the air conditioner. I called them back, they told me to bring it back to them. They kept it a week and a half. I picked it up and brought it home. They claimed to have done 3700 dollars worth of work to it to fix it. I returned home and 2 days later and had the oil changed, the people changing my oil asked me if the vehicle had been under water before, I said I didn" know. When I had the oil changed it started making noises again. I called them back and they said the noise was nothing to worry about, it is normal so this time they offered no help. Said it was my problem. I continued to drive the vehicle and now not only is it making noise but it isn"T running right. It will not idle sometimes and other times it will idle at 4000 RPM to the point it sounds like it is going to explode. It has died on me a number of times in busy intersections and is only getting worse.
