What component malfunctioned: The driver's side visor has malfunctioned and is extremely difficult to raise and lower. It's motion has become very stiff and requires both of the driver's hands to raise or lower it, which means that the driver must remove their hands from the steering wheel to utilize the visor. It is available for inspection as it is still installed in the car. Safety Risk: The malfunctioning visor is a safety risk to both the driver, the car's other occupants and other drivers as it requires both of the driver's hands to raise or lower it which means the driver must temporarily take their hands from the steering wheel while driving to operate the visor. Removing ones hands from the steering wheel can cause the car to be temporarily undirected by the driver which can result in accidents. The malfunctioning visor also creates a visibility hazard. As the visor is too difficult to raise and lower, the driver can be blinded by the sun glare that the visor would normally block. such a visibility issue can lead to accidents, especially if there is oncoming traffic. Inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others:? The dealership (Ziegler Honda, Kalamazoo Michigan) was asked to look at the visor to determine why it wasn't working correctly. They informed me that this was a common issue with this model of Honda and that the only option to fix it is total replacement at a cost of $300. This would not be covered by insurance and there is currently no recall in place to address the defect. Warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? The visor started to not function smoothing in Summer of 2024 and the problem has consistently progressed to the point that the visor is now extremely difficult to raise and lower and requires to hands to move. I can provide a video of the visor's operation showing how difficult it is to move.

As per other recalls of the 2019 Honda Passport we are having the same symptoms. The windshield area along both a pillars are popping and making noise. This is a problem we have been having, finally looking it up on internet we found that other Passports of this year are being recalled for faulty weld spots. We have had this noise sitting at a red light, and clear good weather conditions and also while traveling down the road.

While driving on the Florida turnpike my sunroof just exploded and with the panel open shards of glass dropped into the interior of the car. We were driving at night and I couldn't tell if some of the glass flew back on the highway. With two passengers in the car, luckily nobody was injured.

The vehicle infotainment system locks up sporadically while the vehicle is in motion. As a result, the backup camera is inoperable until a fuse is removed from under the hood. This first happened shortly after purchasing the vehicle and has happened over five times since. This has not been addressed by the local dealer or Honda corporation despite multiple visits to the dealer to determine the problem.

The infotainment system fails while using airplay, causing navigation, audio, bluetooth failure and the rear camera goes out as well. When trying to reboot by turning off the car, the engine stays off but the info system runs darkly in the background. Battery died overnight. Battery reconnect seemed to work but being that this happened twice and I got lost once as a result, I avoid plugging in my phone. This is outrageous, it's all over the internet and no one is stepping up. What about the lemon law" where's our protection"
