With auto stop/start disabled as this feature regularly fails, stopped to turn left and car shifted itself into neutral, could not be shifted into drive or restarted for a few minutes despite multiple attempts. If car had auto stop start feature engaged, this often happens, which has been reported, but this time it happened without that feature on. Luckily we were turning from a parking lot so did not hold up traffic or have risk of being hit.

On several occasions engine fails to restart on its own from a complete stop at a traffic light or road intersection with the Auto Start/Stop function engaged. Car shifts itself into Neutral and cannot be restarted by pressing Start button. It required jump was required for the vehicle to restart once. Usual work around posted by Honda is to put car in Park and then attempt to press Start button. Crash was avoided once in heavy traffic.

I have had the car for three years and its never been in a collusion. Within the past two months the forward radar sensor failed which cost 1500 to replace. This part makes it so all cruise control and auto lane change functionality break. In addition a month later the gas lid broke and emissions were getting into the fuel tank. Again not major incident but I did observe that the gas tank top is very flimsy and moves a lot of when refueling. This cost me another 763 dollars. Both these issues cause major safety issues and should not be occurring on a three year old vehicle.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Passport. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle. The check engine warning light illuminated and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to jim coleman Honda located at 12441 auto dr, clarksville, md 21029, (443) 535-0500 to be diagnosed. The service technician stated that they could not do any repairs because the diagnostic test showed soft codes instead of hard codes, which meant a possible issue with the fuel injection pump possibly having carbon monoxide in the fuel or sensors. A loaner vehicle was provided. The contact was informed that further tests were needed before a final decision was made on the cause of the failure or the possible repair. The failure mileage was 16,000.

Vehicle would not come out of park, it was stationary. First time 3/27/19 picking up new at dealership. Second time 4/10/19, parked in my garage. Both times numerous warning codes displayed. In my garage 10 warning codes displayed, ran motor for several minutes and turned off. Restarted later and 7 warning codes displayed and vehicle would go into drive. Drove to dealership, made appointment for service 4/11/19. Dealership found multiple battery low codes stored from when battery died on lot. Technician noticed a ham radio antenna mount on the cross bar and reported the unknown accessory attached to the cross bar could have something to do with vehicle codes being set. As of this date all the parts to install a transceiver have not arrived. The unknown accessory is just a mount and at the dealership inspection it has a ground wire, 14 gauge thhn, connected to a bracket. When the antenna is installed it must be grounded to frame. I'm including jpegs of antenna mount. Also I have supporting emails detailing when the parts will arrive to my po box and or street address. A transceiver has not been installed in the vehicle! there has not been any electrical connection to the battery/vehicle!
