Passport Trailsport 3.5lV6

Repeated parasitic leak in electrical system causes battery to die and car unable to start.

This has happened 6 times in the four mouths I have owned the car. Purchased with 15K miles, Certified one owner vehicle from Honda of Cleveland TN. I have had it to two different dealers on four occasions.

They keep the car, run all their tests, then tell me they could not find anything wrong. Of course it is under warranty and there is no charge. So much for my Honda warranty. I have joined and read the forums and see that I am not alone with this problem. Both of my local dealers neither will admit there is a problem nor seem to care about my customer satisfaction. The dealer I purchased the care from says they will trade me for another. Of course we all know they will beat me for several thousand dollars in the process. And at this point I definitely do not want another Honda. These cars have so many high tech electrical features, all interconnected in various ways that they are just no longer dependable. I can wade into trying to get Honda Motor Company to make this right, but life is short and I have other much more important things to take care of. In fifty years of owning over 30 vehicles, this has been the worst and really only bad experience I have had. I suppose I should count myself lucky and move on.

IN CONCLUSION, DO NOT BUY A HONDA. THEIR PAST RELIABILITY IS HISTORY.
