Seat heater driver side suddenly became very hot, middle of the back area on the seat. Started smelling like something was burning, turned off the heater. Still very warm to the touch even after 10 minutes in cold weather (35 degrees outside at the time of incident). Middle of my back has a small burn. Car smells like burnt rubber. Afraid to turn the seat heater back on, because I truly think it would have caught fire if I'd left it on any longer. It was turned on for a total of about 20 minutes before this incident occurred today).

Honda needs to do something about this- I looked up recalls and nothing about seat heaters. This is a potentially dangerous situation.
