The contact had to reach behind her and feel around the console to shut off the air conditioner. In addition, the contact stated that sporadically when starting the vehicle, the rear A/C would engage independently but would not register on the front control panel. The manufacturer and dealer were both contacted who could not provide a resolution to the failure.
