The contact owned a 2014 Honda Pilot. While driving approximately 5-10 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. As a result, the contact had to pump the brake pedal and apply the emergency brake in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder and the caliper needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,342. The VIN was unavailable.
