The CV Axle joint has prematurely worn down and makes a popping sound when executing a sharp turn at low speeds. Honda is aware of the issue and has noted that it is widespread; however, they have offered no solution for fixing it.

Car started making knocking noise at 3k miles coming from axle. I reported to Dealership. Car sways on highways when steering straight. Car stop s at 10mph when turning corners saying that a pedestrian is infront of vehicle when there is no one. Backup camera glitches. Vehicle very unsafe. Dealership not doing anything. Contacted employees that sold me the vehicle and they are acting non chalant.

Vehicle was taken to dealer for click noise Hurd while turning right around only 4k miles. The dealer confirmed the noise using a mechanics ear they said as of right now no replacement has been authorized. Honda is investigating. January 2026 car started clicking while in curves and any movement in steering. Still no fix. March 2026 still not fix because Honda hasn-??t investigated yet and now my system has horrible issues with the auto break and rear collision avoidance system. Hondas -??fix-?? turn it off. Why wouldn-??t get a touring model with all those features just to have them tuned off.

The 2025 Honda Prologue is 7 months old with 5424 miles has a clicking sound when you turn all the way left or all the way right. It is a defective design part that will continue to get worse until the vehicle will become undrivable. Honda Corporation is aware of the problem as the 2024 Prologue has the same issue.

It makes a clicking sound when the steering is near the end of travel in either direction. I believe this is a problem becoming more and more common with the CV joint or axle. But this vehicle used on 2/24/26 with 17,000 miles on it.

The steering started clicking or clunking noise when hard turning left and right at about 9,000 miles. Took to the dealership and they acknowledged being able to easily replicate the problem, inspected for damage, did not see any. They returned the vehicle with no fix as advised by Honda at this moment for this problem. It appears to be a larger problem under investigation and I was told that it has been noted and we will need to wait for a resolution to the issue.

There is a clunking, clicking or ratcheting noise when turning left or right. Reported issue to dealer multiple times. They replaced a CV axle on one side, but shortly after the other the noise came back. Dealer mechanic stated that Honda acknowledges the issue but there is not a fix at this time because spare parts have the same defect.

First of all, my Honda app took me a month to get into and sign in due to app issues which are very annoying and when I drive my car and turn the wheel, it makes axel sounds my screen shut off on me. One time I got a high voltage system warning the battery drains out quick. The door hits the other door every time you open driver side

Every time I turn fully left or right there is a clicking, binding type noise. Gos away as steering is straightened. Have not gone to dealer yet because I have heard on Prologue forum web site that it is not being fixed yet, some have been in 3 to 6 times to replace cv axles, but that Honda engineering is working on a fix, ie a newly designed cv axles. Would appreciate any help on speeding up this process.

Vehicle: 2025 Honda Prologue Location: Sacramento, California Date of Incident: [XXX] What failed or malfunctioned The vehicle experienced a sudden loss of directional stability involving the steering system, brake-by-wire system, and electronic stability control (ESC). Steering and braking inputs did not produce proportional vehicle response. What happened While driving under normal conditions, the vehicle began drifting to the left. I attempted to steer back to the right and applied braking; however, the vehicle did not respond as expected. Electronic stability control did not appear to engage or correct the loss of control. The vehicle then deviated from its intended path, overturned, and struck a fence. The vehicle was declared a total loss. No other vehicles were involved, and no injuries occurred. Safety risk This failure created an immediate and serious safety risk. The loss of steering and braking effectiveness could have resulted in severe injury or fatality. The rollover demonstrates a critical safety concern. Warning signs No warning lights, messages, or symptoms were present prior to the failure. The event occurred suddenly without notice. Inspections The vehicle was inspected by police and insurance representatives. The manufacturer has not yet inspected the vehicle. The vehicle remains available for inspection through the insurance provider. Dealer confirmation The issue has not yet been reproduced due to the vehicle being totaled. Additional concerns The vehicle-??s behavior was inconsistent with normal operation of safety-critical systems designed to maintain vehicle control. I am concerned about system performance, calibration, or possible electronic control failure. Manufacturer contact I reported this issue to Honda Customer Care by phone and requested escalation to engineering review. Around 3000 miles both front axles developed a clicking sound when turning. The sounds has gotten progressively worse over the next 2000 miles. Honda dealer service center confirmed bad axles but states Honda America no longer allows them to replace the axles since the replacements are failing quickly. Second dealer also declined to fix defective axles stating Honda America is "working on a new part". No one knows what the part is or when it will potentially be available. Honda dealer now appraises the Prologue at *less than half* of the MSRP. (Vehicle has 5000 miles.)

When accelerating and turning left or right at the same time there is a severe clicking sound coming from the CV Joints sounds like they are cracked. This started to happen at 3500 miles. Brought it into the Honda dealership Service Department and they said it was a known issue and there was not a fix. Contrary to the research that I have done about this issue and Honda has been replacing these with a so-called new part number that fixes the issue. I am concerned because when turning and accelerating the stability of the vehicle does not feel safe.
