problem #3

Ridgeline RTS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 132,000 miles

plastic coupling to radiator broke

SAD THOUGHT HONDA DESIGNED THEIR CARS BETTER THAN THIS. CHEAP PART CAUSED THE COMPLETE TRANSMISSION FAILURE AND REQUIRED REBUILD AND A NEW RADIATOR PLUS LOSS IS USE FOR WHAT THEY TELL ME WILL BE ALMOST TWO WEEKS.

WORRIED NOW AS WE HAVE PURCHASED A 2016 CRV TOURING SUV GUESS MAYBE I PUT MY FAITH IN THE WRONG COMPANY WITH MARGINALLY STUPID DESIGN STANDARDS.

Ridgeline RTS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

Transmission cooler line broke at the radiator. Transmission might be ruined.

Update from Apr 17, 2016: Replaced radiator and truck is great. There was no water in transmission and no transmission fluid in the radiator/cooling system. The radiator replacement was fairly easy and the cost of radiator, trans fluid and antifreeze was only $200.00.

Ridgeline RTL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 106,241 miles

So the transmission cooling pipe rotted off, the radiator another issue that was not my fault. I've brought this truck in for every service and spent a little more than $8000.00 at this Dealership I am so disappointed with Honda.
