Whine was first noticed in December of 2010. Truck has been lightly used with mostly highway miles and a few trips with a light motorcycle in the bed (450 pounds). I reported the problem to Honda in early 2011 and they said they could not hear it. Sound has gotten progressively louder and I need to take it back in. I have an extended warranty (100,000 miles) so it is still their problem for a while. It is not tire whine because the sound goes away if I back off the throttle. It is now loud enough for me to hear it with the radio on. Otherwise, truck has been perfect in every respect. Ps Honda has done all service including replacing transmission fluid at appropriate intervals.
