problem #2

Ridgeline RTF-E

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,000 miles

2017 Honda Ridgeline bought at Tracy Honda recently had brake assist for no reason. I was turning left at a stoplight following the car in front of me as I always do, when suddenly the brake assist came on alerted me and slammed on the brakes in the middle of the intersection. The car behind me came inches from slamming into me from the rear. I hate this f*cking truck @ - nothing but issues and problems. Electrical issues too!

Ridgeline Edition V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18 miles

sudden braking without warning with no danger in sight Like most car manufacturers I'm told to prove it happens the Stockton Honda dealership had it for two days never test drove it and told me it was working fine. My Ridgeline detects on coming cars in there own lane doing nothing wrong and for no reason will apply the brakes fully and audible alarm comes on telling me to brake and the steering gets rigid begins to vibrate, after that one car passes it returns to normal. Meanwhile the semi tractor behind you nearly runs over you because your speed of 65 has dropped without warning to 30 mph. The fix for this problem is calibration but no dealership has that tool or technology and Honda denies that this problems even exist I have to prove it I guess by getting killed.

How does one prove and intermittent problem with electronics $40,000 car and it's up to me to solve the problem my answer to the situation is stop making payments
