Ridgeline RTL-E 3.5L

Sensing device warns of forward collision when nothing is there or vehicle is not moving. Has done this many times, more prominently when it's raining. I feel it's the center device in the grille that is faulty, dealer won't do anything about it. Could this be reprogrammed?
