Ridgeline RTL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,000 miles

Clunking popping sound coming from front end. Seems to be mostly driver's side. It happens when going over bumps, uneven surfaces and especially down driveways in an angle or coming off a driveway and having to turn backing down. It also happened going forward but steering locked in one direction mostly turning left. At the shop at the moment and best guess so far is the drive shaft driver side. Should be under warranty but I have after market wheels and 1.5 inch front lift kit installed. Honda may not honor any suspension issues. Someone did have something similar and had to replace drive shaft on the Ridgeline forum and did have low mileage like me.

Update from Feb 2, 2021: Turns out it was my fault. Some loose bolts to the skid plate was the root cause.
