The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. While driving 50 mph, the sun roof exploded and glass shattered. There were no injuries. The vehicle was driven to daphene Honda (9871 justina ave, daphne, al 36526, (251) 202-4557) where it was diagnosed that a new sun roof needed to be installed. The vehicle was scheduled to be repaired today. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 32,200.

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated that the sun roof exploded without warning and the glass shattered. The slider was closed when the failure occurred and prevented glass from entering the vehicle. There were no injuries. The dealer (kendall Honda of fairbanks, 1000 Cadillac ct, fairbanks, ak 99701, (855) 981-5607) recommended that a diagnostic appointment be scheduled. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 13,000.
