My car was recalled months ago but Honda has not provided the parts for the repair. I don't know why they are telling me about the recall (it is serious...fuel pump) but not getting parts in a timely manner to fix it. They keep telling me to call the dealer; the dealer keeps telling me they don't have the parts and there is no ETA as to when they will be available. Can't Honda just replace the entire fuel pump if they can not make or obtain the parts to repair it?

I contacted North America Honda and they referred me to a local dealer. However, the dealer told me that they cannot repair the fuel pump until it breaks down on the road. According to a report, if the fuel pump malfunctions, it could shut off the fuel supply, which would cause the engine to stop running. As a result, you would lose power steering and it could create a hazardous situation while driving.

I have been to my Honda dealership four times for transmission issues and on the fourth trip to the dealer they were finally able to confirm the problem. My 2019 Ridgeline will kick/buck at about 27 miles per hour and will not shift into higher gears as I gain speed. When this occurs, my engine will operate at 4,000 RPM on the highway. There warning lamps when the transmission starts acting up. The some or all of the lamps will stay on for on or several days at a time and these include: Emission Systems Problem, Transmission Systems Problem and Blind Spot Info System Problem. My safety is at risk due to the fact the transmission does not shift and bucks and I cannot potentially accelerate in a normal manner which could lead to an accident. They have diagnosed the problem based on a computer code from the car to the service department. They say the part is on backorder and they do not know when it will be available. Could be up to six months. I have looked on the internet and have found many Ridgeline owners complaining of the same issue for the 2017-2019 model years. When I brought the car in for service the first two times I was under extended warranty and now they say I may not be covered because they could not detect it. I guess mechanics now rely on computers and do not accept the work of the owner as to the problems being experienced. The problem is the Pressure Control Valve Code # P0776

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline truck was driving at 70MPH for one hour at 25F temperature. After exiting the ramp, the Check Engine Light started flashing, lost power and the engine was running very rough and cannot drive more than 35MPH. Stopped on the side of the road, turned the engine off and then back on and the truck was driveable again. Had this truck for 4 years now and had this problem once or twice every winter.

Fuel / combustion chamber odors accumulating around engine compartment when vehicle is parked in garage and filling the cabin with nauseating odor. This problem comes and goes with new resolution from dealer. Seem as an engine venting issue. Ongoing problem since new phurchase.
- New Berlin, WI, USA
Smell of fuel or burnt oil emanating from engine compartment and entering cabin through HVAC system when idling. Warm engine also emanates fuel/burnt oil smell after it is parked and shut off. When parked in an enclosed garage the smell can be overwhelming. Took to the dealer for inspection but they claim they can not duplicate the issue. When researching online indications are it may be a leaking PCV hose that is allowing fumes to permeate. The situation is ongoing and frequently noticeable both in the cabin and outside the vehicle.
