The truck has had ~6 occurrences since purchased where the engine briefly loses power in highway cruising speeds between ~50 and 75mph At first we thought it was a safety feature or governor on the truck -?" or a malfunctioning of the Auto-idle. I mentioned the incidents to the dealer service techs where we bought it but there was no awareness or acknowledgement of issues or a safety feature that would do this. This has happened to both my wife and me when driving; we began documenting the events - the last 3 are as follows: [XXX], midday. [XXX], VA, going downhill at ~70 mph, engine began stalling without warning when I eased off the gas to coast briefly downhill in the flow of traffic; steering and brake pedal began to freeze. I gave it gas, pumping the pedal to no immediate effect; a couple of seconds later it recovered and started up; making a loud buzzing noise. I avoided an accident in traffic by not panicking and because the vehicle behind us was not tailgating. [XXX], 7:08 pm. I [XXX] at ~62-65 mph, again in the middle lane cruising with traffic, Auto-idle turned off. When we coasted for a few seconds in the flow, the engine suddenly lost power; would not accelerate or re-engage. After a couple of seconds the engine came back to full power with a slight buzz (high pitch) -?" not as loud as previous times. [XXX]/ 8:13 pm. On [XXX] going through Jacksonville downtown on the way to the airport. In the middle lane (second over from left lane) at ~60mph the engine started to lose power in spite of my foot being on the gas. I kept the gas applied and the engine power came back. No buzz sound. At ~ 31,531 mile on the odometer. Note that we changed dealers for the service -?" Honda of the Avenues, and they have had the truck a few times since the [XXX] event. They have been able to pick up one code when scanning the truck -?" for a -??transmission event.-?? They cannot replicate the event. On multiple occasions at highway speeds when coasting for a few seconds roughly 50mph to 70mph, the truck begins to stall/ lose power. We thought it was related to the Auto-idle feature, but the last two events I had it turned off. This has happened 5 or 6 times to me and my wife since about six months after buying the truck. Four of the events - November 2023: [XXX] in New Jersey at ~50 mph, engine lost power, applying gas did nothing. A few seconds later it regained power and made a buzzing noise. [XXX]: On [XXX] in Virginia, going down hill at ~70 mph, the engine lost power without warning, steering & brake pedal began to freeze up as if the truck was turning off when coasting briefly down with the flow of traffic. I pumped the gas pedal to no avail - a couple of seconds later it recovered and started up - and buzzed loudly. I avoided an accident; luckily the vehicle behind us was not tailgating. No lights or warning appeared on the dash. The dealer scanned the truck's computer and they noted a transmission event code, but nothing more. Could not replicate the issue. [XXX], Jacksonville, FL [XXX] near [XXX] at ~62 mph, in the middle lane with Auto-idle turned off, engine began to lose power briefly with a slight Buzz (high pitch) when it "came back" to full power - again while cruising, almost coasting - to keep pace and distance from the vehicle in front of me. My wife witnessed the event and made note of the time and speed. [XXX], 8:13pm - on [XXX] going through Jax on the way to the airport to pick up my wife. In the middle lane (second over from left lane) at ~60mph started to lose power in spite of my foot being on the gas. I kept the gas applied and the engine power came back. No buzz sound. At ~ 31,531 mile on the odometer. The truck has been back to the dealer 3 times and they cannot replicate the event. After pulling into my son's driveway that only has a slight downward grade, I put my Honda Ridgeline into park, shutoff the engine and then exited the vehicle. I took only a step by the driver's side mirror when the vehicle rolled back about six inches. I immediately got back into the vehicle and started it up to make sure it was in park. Both indicators on the dash and the center consol button showed the vehicle was in park. I then set the emergency brake. This incident was reported to my dealer on 2/15/24. They found no codes stored and no concerns with the transmission. They stated" advised customer vehicle may roll back until the parking brake pawl engages. This is normal operation of the transmission."

I was driving back from Colorado celebrating my best friend from childhood having his first wedding. When the moonroof exploded while on was driving along I-70 East, I was about 5 miles away from my hotel in Columbia, MO. This is my halfway point on my long road trip out to Denver, CO. The loud noise startled me, as I was traveling 75 mph eastbound on the interstate. I checked all of mirrors and surroundings, I didn-??t see anything that happened at that time. So, I continued to my hotel 5 miles up the road. I got to my hotel and parked in the parking lot. As I got out of the vehicle, I close the door and hear a noise that is not normal for a typical door close. I opened and shut the door a few more times, then I walked around the vehicle to see if there was any damage from the loud noise that I heard while driving along I-70. I look all around the vehicle, then finally I notice the glass on the moonroof didn-??t look right. This is when I noticed that the moonroof had shattered. So, I use my cooler that I brought with me for the trip and look at the moonroof at a better viewing angle. I see that the glass has shattered. This seemed very unusual since I did not see any dents or scratches from any possible object that could have caused this. At this moment I reflected about my time driving on I-70 when that loud noise occurred moments earlier. The noise sounded like a gun shot that was very close by. I remember that I was not near any cars close to me, and there was no underpass nearby when the noise happened. The weather was partly cloudy, and the temperature was around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The time that is happened was about 7:30 PM Central Time. THANKFULLY, THE SLIDER WAS CLOSED, SO THE GLASS DID NOT INJURE ME, BUT COULD HAVE INJURED ME IF IT WAS OPEN. It was a scary ordeal.

When the truck is idling, I smell fumes of exhaust and occasionally fuel. These fumes are more pronounced in the area of the front passenger seat. I haven't noticed any visual leaks from the fuel system.

2022 Ridgeline is only a few months old. After driving one day for ~100 miles on interstate, then exiting interstate to get on on-ramp going in other direction, the vehicle suddenly displayed a flashing "check engine" light, has noticeably reduced power, and an odd-sounding engine. I was able to slowly drive to a nearby gas station where I restarted the vehicle and the symptoms went away. I had my local Honda dealer look at the vehicle and they were unable to find any error codes. Their response was essentially "no code, no problem" and advised me to drive it until something goes wrong again, and shows something they will diagnose. This vehicle has less than 8,000 total miles and has had its initial service done by Honda dealer, as well as another bill of health when I just took it in for this engine issue. I'm reporting this case in particular because I'm very concerned that this will happen while driving on the highway and be a serious safety issue with the drastically reduced power. Perhaps most importantly, I am reporting this because there are forums full of other people with newer Honda Ridgelines experiencing the exact same issue - repeatedly - without any acknowledgement from Honda.

Honda Wireless Charger does not work. I took it to the dealer, and the dealer confirmed it was not working and that Honda knows that this is an issue. This truck was bought new from the dealer and Honda knew this is an issue.

The wireless charging pad does not work, no matter what position the phone is. I have tried with the case off, so that's not the issue. And I've also tried multiple phones. It pretends to power on and start charging but then it stops in less than a minute, even WITHOUT driving the car....so the phone has no chance to move.
