Ridgeline RTL 3.5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 29,000 miles

A 2023 lease Return Ridgeline RTL that was certified by Honda. Had the vehicle for a month. Warning lights illuminated and cycled including a power steering system warning. The vehicle refused to go into reverse unless you pushed and held the reverse button down. Had it towed to Honda. They advised they disconnected and reinstalled the EPS Control Unit connector and that resolved the issue. Defect Code 03214. They returned the vehicle in working condition that same day and they covered all expenses. They acted as if this was not an uncommon scenario. I had a Gen 1 for over 10 years and never had to address anything like this. Japanese electronics are usually the industry standard.
