Less than a year old and I started to see water on the driver’s kick panel and brake pedal after driving in the rain or car wash. Very happy I had the fitted floor mats, or I would not have seen the extent of the water infiltration. Using a garden hose, I could replicate the problem by spraying on the roof seam on the driver’s side. So far the headliner is dry.

First trip to the dealership was with the understanding that they had to verify the problem and submit the case to Honda to ensure it was covered by warranty. Then it would go to a body shop. I dropped it off; they provided a loaner (nice) but they then told me it would be around five days before a technician could look at it. That meant it would be parked outside with historic Midwest rainfall predicted, with a roof leak. (We did have flooding.) So, I went back and brought it home to the garage.

Next try, after a few hours of waiting, the dealer said they were unable to duplicate it and to let them know if it happened again. It does leak consistently. Going back to the dealer again hopefully it will be addressed professionally at a body shop and not with a tube of silicone.

Great truck otherwise, this is very disappointing for a vehicle I bought to enjoy retirement with. More pictures are available, but the puddles all look the same.

I bought my first new car 61 years old was so proud. I keep taking it in they say its a welding problem and have to take to a body shop 6 months later still leaking they say going to do new carpet this and that. I wanna know when honda your service reps over the service shop suvk. I keep getting well waiting on honda rep then waiting on auto shop. My vehicle is outta service wjen it rains the floorboards fill up with water I cant wash it. What damage is it doing when it rains. Just own up and fix it how hard is it . Please help.
