The VSA computer module that failed costs over $1,900 and another $200 in labor to repair. The car is out of warranty by months but has only 2,336 miles on it. I asked for this repair to be covered by Honda. I spoke with Ken O. in California and was offered a 30% discount, for this repair. A $2,000 part should not fail in 3-4 years on a vehicle with 2,300+ miles. Even with the discount the repair is still $1300-$1400.
Based on Honda's handling of this complaint, I will not buy another Honda. This my first and last Honda. A $2,000 part should be "bullet-proof".
