The consumer' S vehicle was hit on the passenger's and driver's sides on the front and in the rear passenger's side. Upon impact, frontal air bags failed to deploy. Driver sustained injuries. The consumer stated that there was an on/off switch for the passenger's side air bag, but, he was unsure if it was turned on. The doctor told the consumer that if the air bag had deployed he would not have sustained serious injuries. The consumer was the only one in his vehicle. The other vehicle involved ran a red light. The consumer state that after he came through he remembered trying to use the onstar and the red button did not work. He was basically there physically, but not mentally. Also, he said that injures from the accident made him unable to move at times. The police report stated that the other vehicle was going 35 mph. The consumer felt that the other vehicle had to be going at least 50 mph.
