While driving at 60 mph, the front passenger side brake line was rusted and fractured. As a result, the vehicle was difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was cautiously driven to an independent mechanic who replaced the anti-lock brake system and the front passenger side brake line. The VIN was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
